My Life Verse: Romans 8:38-39

I recently stumbled upon the term "Life Verse," while reading an email from my Bible app YouVersion. A Life Verse is apparently a verse from the Bible that you keep close to heart, possibly even memorizing it, to reassure you during tough times.

I have  various Bible verses that I like, but as soon as I heard the term "Life Verse" only one of them came to mind: Romans 8:38-39.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord

This verse became my Life Verse during one of the toughest times of my life so far - when I was experiencing serious Mental Health issues. I memorized this verse, and I used it to counter anything and everything the negative voices in my head were saying.

This verse got me through that season and for that, I am eternally grateful. I believe that as the seasons of our lives change, our life verses may change. But for me, for now, Romans 8:38-39 is my Life-Verse.
