A Yard of Insight

Like Simi said, every so often I like to "break it down". And this year I've done that quite a bit. I've talked about relationships, technology, myself, you name it - I've probably said it. So here are a few opinions of mine that you may have overlooked.

  1. In The Benefits of Being Backward, I touch on some of the reasons why living in a developed country isn't as bad as it's made out to be. Certainly there are a lot more advantages than most people realise or admit to.
  2. Counselling since 1987 exposes a part of me that most of my friends know me well for. It exposes my love for gist, and my consequent love for counselling - because the best gist is born of other people's problems.
  3. How do you feel about all the recent changes to Facebook? I hear many hate them, and the rest don't care. But even before the changes there was a little something that got on my Facebooking nerves. Check out Facebook & The Wall to learn more.
  4. I love my father, and I'm sure many of you do too. But don't we all give him the lamest presents on Father's day? Yes we do. The Underappreciated Parent talks about why I think that is, and what I think we can do about it.
  5. The Safe Height is about just what is says. The height at which we are safe. Safe from what you ask? Check out the article to find out.
