Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown
This month's anime recommendation is actually an anime movie which I think you will enjoy more if you watch it after you watch the anime series first.
Goblin Slayer (the series) follows the adventures of a literal Goblin Slayer (an adventurer who specializes in killing goblins) as he makes friends and forms a party of adventurers who together go on goblin slaying missions.
The interesting thing about the series (apart from the action) is the realism in the fighting. The goblins don't just go down after a few blows like they might in a video game, they actually struggle to survive like they would if they existed in real life. When they capture prisoners, they have their way with them and torture them like one might expect. The series really brings to life the idea of goblins as a race of beings that torments human beings.
Now with Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown, the Goblin Slayer's party of adventurers embark on a new mission to rescue a captured noble from goblins. The details of how they do this is what the movie is all about. But I can tell you that there's a lot of action and fighting and if you're into that, this movie is for you. However, if you want all the backstory to how the adventurers came together in the first place, I advise you watch the series first.
