Kemono Jihen
Dorotabou is a farmhand working in a remote village, unaware of the latent abilities he has. When occult detective Kohachi Inugami is called in to solve a case in this village, a lot more is uncovered than just the culprits.
Dear all, my anime recommendation for this month is a short series named Kemono Jihen. Kemono Jihen follows the adventures of a young boy soon to be formerly known as "Dorotabou" as he discovers and learns to use his hidden Kemono powers. (spoiler).
Dorotabou is discovered by occult detective Kohachi Inugami when he decides to take up an assignment in a remote village. In this village, there is a case involving mutilated livestock corpses. So Inugami is called in to uncover the cause and deal with it.
Meanwhile Dorotabou is a farmhand working in this village. Unaware of his abilities and mostly evaded by his peers, he goes about his work diligently. But when Inugami takes an interest in him and involves him in solving the case at hand, a lot more is uncovered than just the culprits.
I really enjoyed watching this series and devoured all the episodes in a couple of days. I hope that says something about how good it was (not just how much I love anime). Like I said, it's a short one (just 12 episodes), so you can give it a see and let me know if you like it.
