Kimetsu no Yaiba

Good day, all. My Anime recommendation for this month is a real gift. A pleasure to watch, any day, any time. It is called Kimetsu no Yaiba or Demon Slayer. The series follows the journey of  one Tanjirou Kamado to restore his demonized sister's humanity, and avenge his murdered family.

As the oldest son of his widowed mother, Tanjirou was responsible for supporting his household, any way he could. This included making trips from his remote home up in the mountains, to the closest village, to sell charcoal. On what would turn out to be the last of these trips, Tanjirou is convinced to take shelter at one of the villager's houses due to the lateness of the day. Here, Old man Saburou (the villager) warns Tanjirou about the man-eating demons that prowl the land at night. He also tells him of the demon-slayers who protect mankind.

Little did he know that the next day when he returned home, he would find his family slaughtered by a demon, and his sister Nezuko transforming into a demon herself. Luckily for them both, a demon slayer would soon arrive on the scene and provide a beacon of hope for Tanjirou and his sister to pursue to hopefully undo the curse and restore what little can be salvaged of their normal lives...
