Say What?

Say What?

At 2AM on the 2nd day of December in 2010, I went deaf in my left ear.

This deafness lasted for about an hour and a half and came coupled with symptoms of light-headedness, loss of balance, and later in the day, numbness on my entire left-side. My brother and I quickly rushed to the Emergency Department of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where I was soon diagnosed as having a possible stroke. I was admitted into the hospital (ward 5East, room 17), and for the next 2 days I was kept under observation while all sorts of scans, bloodwork, and sensory tests were carried out.
