To Kill A Fae by Jamie A Waters

Good day, my friends. My most recent read this month is a fantasy/fiction novel called To Kill A Fae by the author Jamie A. Waters. Set in a world of magic and magical creatures such as Pixies, Dragons, and even Demons, the book tells the story of fugitive Sabine, in exile from her home, now living undercover in the city of Akros.

From the very beginning, we are told that Sabine is living in hiding, trying to stay concealed from those who would see her dead. Only a few know who she is, and fewer still know the circumstances of her hideaway. But when an attempt is made on her life, and almost simultaneously, she finds herself attracted to a newcomer in the city, Sabine is slowly drawn out of the shadows, as she seeks to deal with these new forces.

But the story is not just between Sabine and Mr. newcomer. As the story unfolds, Sabine's relationships with the members of the underworld of Akros begin to come to light. Between them, the newcomer, and the ever-present threat to her life, Sabine must find a way to survive whilst keeping her friends close, and her cover intact.

This book weaves a thrilling tale that will have you at the edge of your seat by the end. There is a lot of magic and action to enjoy, and even a sweet bit of romance. Like my previous read Elvish, I got this book for free on Amazon.com. It was recommended to me via a newsletter I subscribe to by Bookbub. So if you're interested, you can grab a Kindle copy right now!
