Getting Underway
If something is too difficult, you're doing it wrong.
This is one of my favourite quotes, and my experience so far with divvying up my interests amongst different blogs has once again reminded me why. Following the creation of the first blog, "To Nigeria, My Country", I decided to create a second topical blog for my anime interests.
As you know, I've been trying to incorporate these into my regular Red String editions as they are a big interest of mine. But writing these posts have always been a struggle because I could only really afford to write about 1 anime despite the fact that I'm usually interested in at least 10 at any one time.
Yet as soon as I started writing on my new blog Anicionado, writing became as easy as pie. This is partly because having tried to write for so long, I knew exactly what kind of blog I wanted, and partly because unlike The Red String which I installed and designed myself, setting up Anicionado through WordPress.com was a cinch.
This week alone, I have blogged about 25 different anime and gotten 2 or 3 followers who are anime fans like myself. I have enjoyed writing about each and every one, and whenever I look at the blog it brings a smile to my face. Just as importantly, it means that for those of you readers interested in anime you now have a place where you can read only about that... and for those of you who are not, you won't have to be subjected to a page of anime content that you care nothing for.
I had a great time blogging on Anicionado, and just a second ago, I posted my weekly entry on To Nigeria, My country. Now I'm blogging here... so I believe it is safe to say that this is definitely going to work 🙂
So go ahead and check out my new blogs - I hope you enjoy reading them. 😀
