I don't know much about my country,But there was a time, I thought I knew.I don't know much about my country.Yet I love it, more than most do.I've only seen 6 of 36 states,I've always had food, served on my plateI haven't struggled,I haven't travelled,I've always lived, in nice estatesSo I don't know enough about my countryTo even get, a passing gradeAnd I don't know enough about my countryTo be qualified, to say:It's the greatest place I'll ever seeThe bestest place, I'm sure, for meThough I have come hereAnd I might stay hereThere's no place, I'd rather be.Patriotic Irony
